An all-new mode will begin rolling out to NARUTO Emblem Battle arcade machines at Round1 locations starting today. In “Shinobi Battle Score Attack,” players will be able to challenge a powerful enemy team, and attempt to not only defeat them, but defeat them with the highest possible score. This enemy team is identical across all machines, and provides a challenge for players to see what team composition they can create to deal out the most damage in a single battle.

If you want to take on this challenge, first you’ll have to make sure your location’s machines are set up (participation start may vary). The “Shinobi Battle Score Attack” logo will be visible on the main game screen if the machine has it active. Then you just have to make sure your team strength is at least a “B” in order for the option to play “Shinobi Battle Score Attack” to appear. You’ll be able to freely choose between “Normal Battle” and this new mode as long as your combined strength is at least a “B” — though you may want to bring some particularly strong emblems if you hope to set the high score.

To commemorate this new mode, a special in-store tournament is currently planned to take place at the Round1 Puente Hills Mall location this January. Attendees will have a chance to compete against other players in person to see who can set the highest “Shinobi Battle Score Attack” score. More details on this event, including the specific date and time will be available soon, so stay tuned to our social channels for more updates.
Since “Shinobi Battle Score Attack” features the same conditions every time, you’ll be able to practice your strategies for this special event – and for when the game begins tracking the high scores for this new mode nationwide!
Be sure to stay tuned for additional updates on this mode and more events in 2026.
